There are corrupt and self serving band leaders and they need to be reigned in, but to say they all are corrupt is just wrong.

Corruption and conflicts of interests occur at all levels of governments starting at RMs, towns, cities, provincial and federal governments. A lot of RM councilors don't understand the conflict of interest guidelines. They are your neighbors and fellow farmers!

Bill Boyd and the GTH is an example of corruption at a high level. Does that make all Sask Party MLAs corrupt?

If corruption is such a big issue for you how is it so many Sask Party supporters continue to condone or ignore the obvious corruption and dirty deals of Bill Boyd and Brad Wall? Not much complaining or accountability when your guys are in power! Lets complain about the Indian Bands instead! LOL

That’s the point ... the majority here have called out the corruption of Bill Boyd and Co .
The absolute problem is how you completely refuse to admit there is massive corruption and lack of accountability of tax payer dollars on First Nations . As was said , Harper simply wanted accountability to the millions and millions and millions of tax payers money that disappears into First Nations for nothing .... and you continue to even remotely acknowledge it... all you do is blame everyone else for their issues ... it’s so fukin strange ..

Native women are routinely beaten and killed and maimed and bullied. The RCMP did a study about the cause, and who the perps were. Conclusion: Majority were native men who killed and beat their own women.

Women have no property rights on the reserve. The Chiefs on the reserve are mostly men. Men are bigger and stronger. Boys emulate their fathers/male figures. Native men dominate native women.

Canadian White men are amongst the finest human beings you will find in earth. They work hard. Protect their families. Create wealth. Don’t even try to denigrate them. You come across as incredibly stupid.

Compare how Jewish children coped with WW2 genocide Jewish parents were beaten. Roasted. Tortured. Experimented upon. Their parents’ bones piled in unmarked graves by people who hated them. Today, those children they excel in the world. Their family units are strong. They are educated. Create wealth. They didn’t give up rather, they began building again; and are a remarkable marker for what humans can do after enduring being in a state of turmoil and subjected to outsiders’ depravity. A lot of those "superior" white men also abuse and murder their spouses and girl friends. Saskatchewan has some of the highest domestic abuse rates in Canada and they are not all first nation cases.

Comparing the experiences of jews and first nations has one thing in common, they both experienced large scale genocide. In both cases the the perpetrators were mostly white Europeans.

I will leave it to the sociologists to describe in detail why Jewish people are more successful in Canada.

But they weren't put on reserves, stripped of their land, culture, children, language, religion, and their ability to succeed economically. I wonder if any of that could have impacted them?

Not to mention that first nations were in the stone age at the time white settlers arrived while jewish people were part of the much more technologically and educationally advanced European societies. Plus, jewish people aside from their religion, look no different than other white Europeans.

You don't think skin colour and racism might also be impacting the success and well being of first nations?

Of course you don't think that because you have never experienced it as a white "superior" woman.

In your mind I am sure it is easier just to blame first nations for all their problems and accept no responsibilty.
